Mario Kaiser Jr., a 30-year-old trucking business owner, was found dead approximately 50 feet from his apartment complex with a noose around his neck, hanging from a tree on April 29, 2025. He was last in contact with his girlfriend the night before, and they had plans to see each other that Friday. His mother had reported him missing in January 2025 after the family lost contact with him for several months.

Suicide. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department classified his death as suicide. The death certificate was issued by the North Carolina medical examiner's office listing the manner of death as suicide. No autopsy was performed.
