/ What You Need

To register online, have one of the following ready.

1

Georgia Driver's License Number

This is the fastest way. Your license number is verified against DDS records.

2

Georgia State ID Number

If you have a state-issued ID instead of a driver's license.

3

Last Four Digits of Your Social Security Number

If you do not have a Georgia DL or state ID. You will need to print and mail the application.

First time registering by mail? You will also need to include a copy of your photo ID, or a utility bill, bank statement, government check, or paycheck showing your name and current address.

/ Already Registered?

Check your status on My Voter Page. Georgia periodically removes inactive voters from the rolls. If you have not voted recently, moved, or changed your name, your registration may need to be updated.

/ After You Register

Precinct Card

Your county will mail you a precinct card within 3 to 4 weeks. It tells you where to vote on Election Day. You do not need to bring it with you to vote.

Get Your ID Ready

Georgia requires a photo ID to vote. If you do not have one, you can get a free Voter ID card at any county registrar's office or Georgia DDS location.

View Your Sample Ballot

Log into My Voter Page to see exactly what will be on your ballot before you go to the polls. Know what you are voting on before you get there.

Make A Plan To Vote

Early voting runs October 13 through October 30 at any location in your county. Election Day is November 3 — polls open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
