From March 2025 to August 2026, at least 22 Black people have died across the United States under circumstances their families, communities, and civil rights organizations consider suspicious, insufficiently investigated, or prematurely classified. This page documents every case — the names, the facts, the official rulings, and the questions that remain unanswered.
One case is a tragedy. Twenty-two in seventeen months is a pattern. We are tracking it because no one else will.
